Friday night on the deck with the Maid of Honor Samanth

I can't tell you what a great time we had at our friend's Warren and Elycia's wedding in Laguna Beach. We all stayed at Seven4One boutique hotel that is open for events only. It's a very quaint and cozy place that was picture perfect even if we did have a few gray clouds hanging in the background. Everyone gathered Friday evening for tacos and cocktails after the rehearsal and the excitement in the air was just exhilarating.  Saturday morning was full of excitement as the guys walked along the beach and hung out together and the ladies had their hair and make up done. By the time the event happened, my hair was back to it's same old stubborn self, straight. But that is ok. The ceremony itself was simple and elegant, and the perfect short but sweet. Robert was the best man and Warren's daughter Samantha was maid of honor. The reception itself was one of the funnest times I have ever had and this was a much, VERY much needed event for me. I can't tell you how good it felt to laugh as much as I did. I met some new people and bonded with some that will, no doubt, become some good friends. One couple from Colorado, Bob and Susan were like long lost friends that I have never met. An instant bond like I have met them before from another life time. Susan is very spiritual and Buddhist in her beliefs and I look forward to having some great conversations with her. She really soothed my spirit. After the reception we went, well, everyone but me, went to the lobby to continue the celebration. I went to bed. Hey! What can I say? My bed time is 9:00 on a good day, if you're lucky, I can even stay up to 9:30. Sunday, we all met for brunch and then headed home. I was tired by the time I got home but this was perfect timing for us all. I wish Warren and Elycia a lifetime of happiness. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Belkin 💕💕💕💕💕
